CSV bulk import

Supported columns

  • date — YYYY-MM-DD format
  • time — HH:MM 24-hour format
  • platforms — comma-separated list (e.g., "twitter,linkedin,facebook")
  • copy — post text (wrap in quotes if it contains commas)
  • image_url — publicly accessible URL to the image or video
  • hashtags — optional additional hashtags

Import process

  1. Go to Queue → Import Posts → CSV Upload.
  2. Download the template CSV, fill it out, and upload it back.
  3. Threadly previews all posts before importing — review and confirm.
  4. Posts go live in your queue immediately after confirmation.

AI content calendar

Go to AI Tools → Content Calendar Generator. Enter your brand name, target audience, content pillars, and how many posts per week per platform. The AI generates a full month of posts with copy, hashtags, and image prompts for each slot. Review, edit, and bulk-approve to schedule them all at once.

Limits

A single CSV import is capped at 500 posts. For larger imports, split into multiple files. There is no limit on total scheduled posts in the queue on Starter, Professional, and Agency plans.
